 Arino Fabio from Vience decided to spend his 10 day break cycling Croatia's islands with his wife. From to Vience to Ancona, Arino and his wife travelled by train and then took the water 'trajectory' to Zadar. Pag, Rab, Cres, Lošinj, Pula, then to Trieste via Istria was the route of their cycling holiday. Arino said that he would like to next year visit the Croatian hinterland and that he was impressed with the hospitality of people. They travelled with their basic personal needs and rested in hotels. "We didn't pay to bring our bikes over and we found people talkative and they always gave us good directions. We will be returning next summer!" |
